Alright, the Olympics (oops, sorry, that's a copyrighted term we're not allowed to use, kinda like Super Bowl ... so let's try that again).

Alright, that big dealio in China may have come and gone, but here at FM99 we say the games ain't over till WE SAY they're over!

So all this week we're bringing you the FM99 Summer Games!

Yes, our games are exactly the same as the ones you saw in China ... except instead of world-class athletes we're spotlighting musicians.

Join us live from the Turd's Nest for Hampton Roads' Gold Metal event in variety. It begins today (Monday) with the star-studded Parade Of Nations and continues every day from 10am-6pm.

You'll hear a bunch of tunes you haven't heard on FM99 in a long time ... and some you've never heard on 98.7 at any time!

We'll list all the FM99 Summer Games event participants (translation: we'll list all the bands/songs we play) right here.

Don't miss a minute of the action. Keep your radio locked on 98.7!

FM99 Summer Games "Parade Of Nations"

There were 204 nations who paraded in China. We were able to come up with 50 for our Parade. Many are "legitimate" ... meaning the artists have direct connections to the nations they represent. On other cases we admit we did a little s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g ... like using the Red Hot Chili Peppers to represent Chile!

In some cases below we've provided explanations in case you don't see the connection between the song(s) and the country. If you're not sure about any of them, don't hesitate to email bigbird@fm99.com and he'll set you straight. Enjoy the madness!
