If you’re looking for something that will test your gridiron knowledge, well, this ain’t it! See, you don’t have to know a damn thing about football to play (kinda like Chuck). There’s absolutely no skill involved. It’s 100% luck. Which makes it mindless fun! Here’s how it works:

We start with a 100-square grid like the one above. People pick squares until all of them have been chosen. At that point we’ll randomly pick numbers from 0-9 and enter them as shown.

At the end of each quarter of the Super Bowl we’ll take the last digit of each team’s score and locate the box in which those two digits intersect. Whoever has that box wins!

Using the grid above as an example: Let’s say the score at the end of the first quarter is New England-14, New York-13. The person who has the red square wins that quarter. Get it?

Important: The numbers are chosen AFTER everyone's picked their squares. (The grid above is for demonstration purposes only.) When you pick your square you'll have no idea what numbers you'll eventually wind up with. That's why it's all luck. There's no advantage in choosing one square over another. Nor does it matter how many squares are left when you pick.

FM99/WNOR’s $1,000 E-Force Super Pool
CONTEST RULES

1) Starting on or about January 23, 2008 FM99 (WNOR-FM/Tidewater
Communications, LLC) will conduct the FM99’s $1,000 E-Force Super Pool  contest, giving FM99 listeners a chance to win $1,000 and/or an FM99 Super Pool Beer Glass. Approximate value = $1,010. No purchase is required.

2) All participants must be a part of the FM99 E-Force. The E-Force is ABSOLUTELY free! To join or sign in log on to www.fm99.com and click on the “$1,000 E-Force Super Pool” icon and fill out the form. It will prompt you to join if you have not joined already.

When you pick your square you'll have no idea what numbers you'll eventually wind up with. That's why it's all luck. There's no advantage in choosing one square over another. Nor does it matter how many squares are left when you pick. Everyone who wins a square will receive an FM99 Super Pool Beer Glass. All winners will be in a random drawing for the $1,000 grand prize.  Winners will be notified by FM99/WNOR via phone/e-mail. In the event of a winner not replying within 48 hours of contact, FM99/WNOR reserves the right to select another winner.

3) Grand prize is $1,000 and will be issued in check form. Check could take up to 30 days after winning. Winner will be responsible for all applicable taxes.

4) All contestants must be permanent residents of Virginia or Northeastern North Carolina within range of the FM99 air signal and must provide FM99/WNOR with a valid form of identification and Social Security number satisfactory to FM99/WNOR management. One winner per household.  A “household” is determined as any individuals residing at the same address.

5) All prizes must be picked up at the WNOR-FM business office within thirty (30) days of notification to the winner, or the prize will be forfeited.

6) All Winners will be required to provide to FM99/WNOR a valid photo I.D., and to sign a release form and affidavit of eligibility to claim their prize. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.

7) All Winners consent to the use by FM99/WNOR of their name, likeness, and all verbal and written communications with the station for publicity purposes.

8) All Winners are solely responsible for all applicable local, state and federal taxes. Winners may be issued a federal 1099 income tax form from WNOR-FM. In accordance with IRS regulations, any winner
receiving a prize(s) valued at $600 or more in a given calendar year will be furnished a copy of IRS Form 1099 (miscellaneous income).

9) All prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash. FM99/WNOR reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value. FM99/WNOR can not be held responsible for unforeseen cancellations or delays of any concerts/events awarded as prizes that caused by weather, promoter or performer.

10) This contest is void where prohibited by law. All local, state and federal regulations apply. All giveaways and contests are void where prohibited by law. All local, state and federal regulations apply. As
a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, FM99/WNOR reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue this contest (and not award the offered prizes) at the discretion of FM99/WNOR management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant.
